Nigeria's Largest 3G CDMA Operator Deploys Venturi Optimization to Enhance Broadband Service

SUNNYVALE, Calif., November 19, 2008 -Venturi Wireless, a global provider of mobile services optimization solutions, today announced that Starcomms, Nigeria's largest 3G CDMA operator, has deployed the Venturi Mobile Operator Solution to optimize its 3G mobile data service. Starcomms selected Venturi's Mobile Operator Solution for a network-wide deployment after an extensive evaluation of data optimization providers. Through the deployment of the Venturi solution, Starcomms customers experience significant download speed improvement of their mobile data services, including Web, email, file transfer and streaming multimedia. Additionally, the Venturi Mobile Operator Solution enables Starcomms operations to control their operational costs by substantially reducing the amount of traffic on the network.
