Venturi Wireless Appoints Tomas Isaksson Chief Executive Officer

Wireless Industry Veteran Strengthens Executive Management Team

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—May 9 , 2007—Venturi Wireless, a global provider of mobile broadband services optimization, has appointed Tomas Isaksson, the company’s current chairman and a former Vodafone and Ericsson executive, as president and chief executive officer. Isaksson, who brings more than twenty-eight years of international wireless industry experience, will help Venturi build momentum with wireless and mobile operators worldwide.

Before joining Venturi, Mr. Isaksson spent eleven years at Vodafone. Most recently, he was chief executive and chairman of the management board of Vodafone Netherlands, a subsidiary of the Vodafone Group. During his tenure at Vodafone, Mr. Isaksson served on the Verizon Wireless board of directors, was chief executive of the Americas Region and chief executive officer of Europolitan Holdings AB, a Swedish mobile operator. Prior to joining Vodafone, Mr. Isaksson had a sixteen-year career at Ericsson where he held a number of senior leadership positions, including president and chief executive officer of Ericsson Radio Systems Inc.
